Air Systems International introduces the new BB60-CO Breather Box®

Air Systems International introduced the first Breather Box^®, the BB50-CO, portable Grade-D breathing air filtration system in 1984. The BB50-CO has been state of the art for breathing air filtration for over 40 years.

Working with a world-renowned filter manufacturer, we’ve found a better solution. After extensive testing, we were able to remove even more moisture than the old BB50 filters, adding additional life to all three filters. With the new filter system, we’ve decided to launch the brand new BB60-CO AND at the same cost as the current BB50-CO.

The BB60-CO has improved filter life, processes more air, and is easier to service (no more banged up knuckles!) Additional highlights include:

• BB60-CO designed to fit in the existing BB50-CO case
• Increased filtration capacity in excess of 60 cfm with auto drains in the first two filters
• Filtration removes particulates at 9999% and oil removal efficiency at 99.8%
• Filters have a compact design with higher performance utilizing metal and polymers
• Each filter uses a polymer bowl locking system (no metal bowl guard like the old filter system)
• The new filters operate down to 23 degrees F (-5ºC) and up to 140 degrees F (60ºC)

For those with BB50 models, don’t be alarmed, we’ll be stocking replacement filter elements for the next few years. The BB60-CO will replace the BB50-CO in our product line starting at the end of April 2025, at the same price as the BB50-CO.

Acceptance of purchase orders for BB50-CO and other BB50 Series products will continue through April 30, 2025, and inventory for those will be on a first come first serve basis.
