Grace Industries announces the release of Grace Connected Safety®, a Connected Worker Safety Monitoring and Alerting System

Grace Connected Safety® uses the new Grace Cloud Connect™ Monitoring and Alerting engine; supporting Grace’s Lone Worker, with features including Fall Detection & Suspension Trauma Prevention products. Grace Cloud Connect™ solves the safety monitoring problem for workers in fixed or remote locations, who are working alone or at heights. Using cloud connectivity via ethernet, Wi-Fi, Iridium satellite, and cellular through a Grace Gateway, the worker’s safety status is monitored directly without the need for a third-party call center. Grace Cloud Connect™ uses a web-based portal to assign and schedule the subscriber’s own Monitoring Attendants; and to configure custom email and text notifications of safety-critical events. The system includes value-added I/O features useful for process control SCADA, door and gate entry, gas monitoring, weather warning or any other specialized system control application.

A Grace Connected Safety® System consists of worker worn Grace Pendants, Grace Gateways and Grace Cloud
Connect™.  Grace Pendants
include the popular TPASS®, SuperCELL® and WorkForce® models, featuring motion-sensing, fall-detection, distress-panic button, GPS and location awareness. Pendant choices include intrinsically safe models with audible, visual and optional vibrating alerts. Grace Gateway connectivity choices include fixed location or mobile; using ethernet, Wi-Fi, Cellular and/or Iridium Satellite to facilitate Grace’s proprietary SALTi bi-directional RF wireless secure signaling between a worker’s Pendant and Grace Cloud Connect™. The Grace Cloud Connect™ Monitoring and Alerting Engine is a web-browser Portal Dashboard accessible from any PC, Tablet, Smart-phone or mobile device with Internet connectivity. Grace Cloud Connect™ can easily be configured to support an organization’s standard operating procedures including periodic worker check-ins.

Response time is critical for a worker in distress, Grace Cloud Connect™ provides rapid notification of an alarm including the worker’s GPS location; accessible from a text or email map-link. Grace Connected Safety® provides a valuable service to employers and workers while improving the overall efficiency and productivity of businesses; workers who feel safe and secure are more productive.

Grace Lone-Worker safety applications are limitless and commonly found within utilities, construction, renewable energy, warehousing, agriculture, municipal services, and countless other industries. For more than 40 years and with over a million safety system products sold in over thirty countries, Grace Industries continues as a leader and pioneer in “Solutions for Life Safety” with products that save lives.
