Innovative Power at A+A 2025: 11 Start-ups at BMWE Young Innovators Joint Stand Present Tomorrow’s World of Work

The BMWE YOUNG INNOVATORS joint stand organized by the German Federal Ministry of Economy and Energy at A+A 2025, International Trade Fair and Congress for Safety & Health at Work, is fully booked. Eleven start-ups from Germany will showcase their innovative solutions for occupational safety and health, digitalization, prevention and ergonomics. The group stand will be located in the themed area “Health at Work” in Hall 7, one of the fastest growing segments at the international trade fair. A+A will be held from November 4 – 7, 2025 at the fairgrounds in Düsseldorf, Germany.

The program sponsored by the Federal Ministry of Economy and Energy (BMWE) aims to provide young companies with a prominent platform for their marketable developments. The focus will be on digital technologies, AI-based applications, ergonomic production solutions as well as new formats for training and safety communication.

“This year’s BMWE Young Innovators reflects the entire innovative potential we currently see in occupational safety and preventative healthcare at the workplace. A+A is the platform where these ideas become visible and tangible in practice,” said Lars Wismer, Director of A+A and its global portfolio.

Smart solutions for healthy, safe and efficient worlds of work

The presentations will focus on people in their working environment – and the question of how technology can promote safety, health and productivity. Start-up Deep Care, for example, develops AI-assisted assistance systems for automatic fall detection in the care sector, thereby significantly contributing to both nursing staff and patient safety. ChronoFair is also dedicated to the health sector and offers digital, fairly organized HR solutions to reduce the workload for staff in clinics and care facilities.

Digital prevention and smart communication also play a central role:  Zebra Factor Academy combines theater education with artificial intelligence to embed safety awareness in companies in an emotional, creative and sustainable way. Knoll, Rapp & Strobel and  BASIKNET will  introduce new concepts for knowledge transfer and safety communication in companies – from online training to gamification approaches.

Classic occupational safety topics will also be prominently represented. LeiKoSi will present a patented safety system for ladders that prevents falls at work. DermaPurge GmbH produces protective and care products for the dermatologically effective removal of hazardous substances from the skin in high-risk working environments. Armadillo Tex presents innovative textile hazard protection solutions – the company combines flexible materials with adaptive protective functions for clothing in high-risk areas.

Several exhibitors have a special focus on ergonomics:  Dewboard GmbH has developed a specially designed stand-up board for workplace health promotion – for example for care professionals or industrial manufacturing. eltracon GmbH and MY Intralogistik will also showcase applications from the production and logistics sector. They focus on smart automation, flexible control systems and digital process optimization that combine safety with efficiency and resource savings.

Impulses for experts

The 11 start-ups will illustrate the thematic diversity and great innovative power with which young companies address current challenges in the world of work. Their approaches range from AI and robotics, education and communication to physical protective systems and digital platforms – often designed with a multi-disciplinary approach in mind and a clear focus on practical applicability.
