OS+H ASIA 2022 Returns as In-Person Event in September

From September 14 – 16, 2022,  OS+H Asia, Southeast Asia’s leading exhibition for workplace safety and health, will take place at Suntec Singapore. Featuring over 100 exhibitors from around the world, the 13th edition will return with an in-person format, with a digital preview one week (September 7) before its opening for business matching opportunities and scheduling meetings.

After last year’s successful premiere, the “Tech Innovation Stage” (TIS) will be part of  OS+H Asia in 2022 again. The TIS will highlight workplace safety and health technology and offer a dynamic business platform for exhibitors to demonstrate innovations driven by in-demand product trends to a targeted audience of regional buyers.

OS+H ASIA 2022 will be held at an opportune time since the government and industry recently demanded companies in Singapore to review safety processes and implement necessary control measures to uphold good workplace safety and health standards.

Singapore is experiencing an increased rate of accidents and fatalities in the workplace across various industries as the  country’s economy reopens and activities ramp up[1]. According to the Ministry of Manpower and Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) Council, there were 20 workplace fatalities between January 1 and May 6, many of which could have been prevented with basic safety and health measures.

“The pandemic safety and hygiene issues as well as height safety and fall protection will feature strongly at OS+H ASIA 2022, alongside the latest developments in innovative protective equipment. Key trends such as automation, digitalization, and smart technology will also continue to be main highlights this year. Together with our exhibitors and the industry’s positive response, we are looking forward to the return of in-person networking and the vibrancy of an interactive show floor where potential customers and key decision makers can engage in business,” said Lee Ai Ling, Senior Project Manager of OS+H ASIA at Messe Düsseldorf Asia.

OS+H Asia 2022 will present over 1,000 workplace safety, security, and hygiene products, solutions and services from local and international brands such as Brady Corporation Asia, Epson Singapore, Draeger Singapore, PAULSON, UVEX and 3M.  Exhibitors in the fall protection, safety equipment , protective clothing and high-technology rescue support will include KStrong Asia, NTI Co, Pan Taiwan Enterprise and ZOLL Medical Singapore.

OS+H ASIA serves a multitude of application sectors across industries – from building and construction, oil and gas and healthcare to shipbuilding, hospitality and maintenance services. It will be the sourcing event for WSH practitioners, human resource managers and law enforcement officers as well as owners of small and medium-sized enterprises and industry professionals from around the region.

Committed to establishing itself as a regional platform for the exchange of expertise and best WSH practices, OS+HA Asia 2022 will also include thought leadership content and in-demand topics. A special feature will be the one-day (September 16) Forum on Workplace Safety and Health. Jointly organized by Messe Düsseldorf Asia and Singapore Institute of Safety Officers (SISO), the Forum with the title “People Matter: Building a Safe, Secure and Healthy Workplace Together” will bring together local and regional WSH experts and specialists to share insights on strategic capabilities in workplace safety and health.
