OS+H ASIA POSTPONED TO JULY 2021

The 12th edition of OSH+ Asia, Occupational Safety and Health Exhibition for Asia, has been postponed to July 28 – 30, 2021 at the Marina Bay Sands in Singapore. The trade fair was originally scheduled for December 2020. Due to the ongoing COVID-19 effects, capacity limitations for exhibitions and travel restrictions, rescheduling the event became necessary.

Gernot Ringling, Managing Director of the OSH+Asia organizer Messe Düsseldorf Asia, said: “We were very much hopeful of going ahead with the exhibition with the necessary Safe Management Measures in place and with some travel restrictions being eased, but it became increasingly clear that with guidelines for large-scale business events currently capped at 250 persons and ongoing travel restrictions in key international markets, the exhibition would not be able to proceed as planned.”

“Taking these circumstances into consideration and on close consultation with our industry partners, we have made the difficult decision to postpone OS+H Asia to July 2021. We look to next year with optimism and stronger economic confidence and believe the new dates will provide both exhibitors and visitors alike with a safer environment and the best market conditions to conduct business,” added Gernot Ringling.

Lee Ai Ling, Senior Project Manager at Messe Düsseldorf Asia, commented: “These challenging times call for adaptability and flexibility and with the health and safety of our stakeholders a top priority, postponing the exhibition to 2021 is the best decision. We remain committed to meet the business needs of our industry partners, local and international exhibitors and trade visitors, and will continue to  nurture these trusted relationships for an even more successful participation in OS+H Asia 2021. We would like to take this opportunity to thank all OS+H Asia partners, exhibitors and registered visitors for their continued support. We are taking immediate steps to provide all parties with the necessary support.”

OSH+Asia 2021 will take every measure to continue the successful status of the trade exhibition and will focus on three main areas: Safety, Security and Health at Work – and will also highlight pandemic management solutions. Concurrently held seminars, conferences and forum will also provide an ideal networking and knowledge-sharing platform, optimizing participation and engagement from the local, regional and international sector.

The OS+H Asia team will be in touch with all confirmed exhibitors and participants regarding event logistics and planning. Participants can also contact  osha@mda.com.sg for immediate assistance.
