SKC Inc. Announces Partnership with SlateSafety

Expanding Tools for Industrial Hygiene and Other OEHS Professionals

SKC Inc. is excited to announce its official partnership with SlateSafety, a leading provider of reliable, rugged, and easy-to-use safety solutions for military, first responder, and heavy industrial applications.

SKC Inc., an Eighty Four, PA-based 60-year veteran in the manufacture and sale of occupational and environmental health and safety (OEHS) equipment, media, and instruments will act as a reseller for the award-winning SlateSafety BAND V2. This arm-worn monitor provides real-time physiological monitoring (heart rate, exertion levels, and core temperature) to alert both workers and OEHS professionals to the need for intervention before heat exposure injuries occur. This can optimize work/rest cycles for workers in extreme heat, which promotes safety and OSHA compliance while maintaining productivity.

Founded in 2016, SlateSafety is a technology startup based in Atlanta, GA at the edge of the Connected Safety revolution. The focus of the SlateSafety team’s mission is to put the worker at the center of safety and the next-generation BAND V2 does just that.
